Here are some helpful tips to get back on track:

Keep an eye on your messages

Verification codes can take up to 10 minutes to be delivered. If you do not receive an email after this period, please tap “Resend code” in the app.

Restart your phone

Occasionally, you may need to restart your phone to receive new messages, including the verification code.

If your problem persists, please contact our community team.

Piyah is founded on the value of integrity and we take our responsibilities, in the Muslim community, extremely seriously.

Piyah is an inclusive app, open to all Muslim sects and practising levels. We focus on helping Muslims, who are serious about finding their life partner, to connect.

Our team is dedicated to delivering features, which help our community stay safe and be mindful of their obligations to themselves and others. To date, these include:

Islamic Etiquette
Every new Piyah member is required to accept our Islamic Oath, which sets out guidelines for behaviour and conduct.

Blurred profile photos and videos
Women who require more privacy can opt blur their photos to other members. Once they are comfortable, they are able to reveal photos to specific matches. Photos can be made private again at any time; and will also be automatically blurred in the event of blocking or unmatching.

Selfie verification
To ensure every profile belongs to a real person, we use selfies to verify everyone’s identity. Simply submit your selfie, when you register, and we compare it with your profile photo – that’s it!

Chaperone Mode
Chaperone Mode enables you to share weekly transcripts of your chats on Piyah with a wali, for added peace of mind.

Reporting
All Piyah users must adhere to our Behavioural guidelines. Any member seen to violate these rules can be reported at any time. All reports submitted to our team will then be dealt with accordingly.

Ratings
We ask members to give feedback on matches; particularly politeness, seriousness and whether they would recommend them. This data feeds into our algorithm to show well regarded users more regularly in our service.

Simply sign up to start browsing profiles.

If a profile feels like a good fit, you can tap like. Alternatively, you can tap pass to skip the profile and move on.

If someone likes you back, you’ll both be automatically matched and can begin chatting!

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble!

If you cannot take a selfie, please log into a different device to take one. To keep our community safe, we can only verify accounts with a clear photo and selfie.

If you are having technical difficulties, please contact our community team.
